Tom shares my conservative Republican values. He has served Williamson County and the residents of district 7 with honor and integrity. I have seen first hand his passion to serve this community beyond his responsibilities as County Commissioner. Tom has my support, I hope he has yours as well.

Tennessee Senate Majority Leader

Tom has been a strong advocate for funding Williamson County Schools as a citizen of Brentwood and as County Commissioner. Prior to his position as D7 County Commissioner, Tom co-founded FUND OUR SCHOOLS. He and a large group of Brentwood residents lobbied the County Commissioners to fund the proposed STEM building. Their efforts resulted in increasing the student capacity at Brentwood High and avoiding the possible rezoning of the Wildwood neighborhood to another high school outside of Brentwood. — Sheila Cleveland
Brentwood Resident, 21 Years

Tom, is a dedicated public servant who is committed to serve and support the citizens of his district and Williamson County. — Sam Whitson

It has been a pleasure to work with Tom for the last 6 years. He has worked diligently to ensure WCS get the funding needed to keep our school system the best in the state. Tom has also committed many hours on the Bar-B-Q preparing meats for various charities and employee appreciation meals. He has been a true asset to the citizens of the 7th district. — Dusty Rhoades

I’ve known Tom for a long time, but most of the work we’ve done together has been through his role as a Williamson County Commissioner.  His communication during the campaign and since taking office has been excellent, but where Tom really stands out to me is his hands-on approach to community service.  For example, in Fall 2019 we were having a drainage problem with the football field in Ravenwood Stadium.  When a huge storm was on the way just days before our post-season game, Tom was one of the volunteers who spent hours pulling tarps over the field to help keep it playable and protect the players from injury.  His passion for service plays out as first-hand, insightful problem solving when decisions come up such as how to fund our beloved schools and their facilities.

I share this story not because it is the only thing Tom ever did but because I think it is indicative to the hands-on, service-oriented leadership he brings to our County Commission.  I fully support Tom in his desire to continue this community service representing district 7.
